HR Officer(HRA19/01)

An opportunity has arisen for a HR Officer to join our Team, who will enjoy working in a busy, professional environment, advising and overseeing the day to day HR activities and processes ensuring best practice and compliance to policies while providing a comprehensive and professional service to the PRM Group of companies and ensuring efficient support within the HR department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day to day HR operations and duties.
  • Provide effective and efficient HR Administrative support to the HR Team.
  • Manage the life cycle of allocated recruitment and selection campaigns in accordance with internal processes
  • Provide support and guidance to line managers on general HR related queries.
  • Manage sickness, absence and non attendance
  • Co-ordinate inductions and training for all new staff
  • Manage employee relations including disciplinary processes as appropriate, supporting managers and ensuring compliance
  • Maintain and update all relevant employee data and files in line with Data Protection.
  • Contribute to the delivery of all HR related KPI’s
  • Contribute to the review and development of HR related topics including policies and procedures
  • Prepare reports relating to personnel activities, to include monitoring, analysing and identifying trends in weekly/monthly reports and KPI’s
  • Assist in the completion of statutory reports including Annual Monitoring Return and Article 55
  • Facilitating processes within payroll when required to provide cover
  • The Person

  • Ideally the successful candidate will have a relevant 3rd level qualification and at least one years generalist experience in a HR role
  • CIPD member.
  • Excellent administrative skills with a proven track record of producing high quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Positive and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and team working skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office
  • Ideally will have experience of an HR based system.
